A Covid Safe Event

Your safety is paramount so to ensure that your visit to MBE London is as safe as possible, we are recommending that you consider the steps below.

Proof won't be asked of everyone on arrival, though MBE and the BDC are at liberty to request proof of your Covid status.

This applies to everyone in attendance, all exhibitors, visitors and staff and is subject to updates.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
When preparing to visit MBE London at the Business Design Centre, here's the things we recommend you do before you arrive...

Organise your COVID-19 status pass

The accepted method of showing COVID-19 status is as follows:

NHS COVID Pass via the NHS App (NB This is different to the NHS COVID-19 Test and Trace app). It is advised individuals apply no later than 48 hours before attending their event to allow for the application to be processed in time. The NEC team will accept all equivalent passes from the devolved nations of the UK.

Proof of immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

Lateral flow or PCR negative test results text or e-mail, received within 72 hours prior to attending the event.

If visitors would prefer not to use the app or do not have a smartphone they can obtain a NHS COVID Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website.

Visitors with a medical exemption should advise a member of staff during the checking process.

COVID PASS QUICK TIP: When you have your proof ready, we find it helps to download or screenshot a copy of your proof and save it to your photos, email or phone wallet. You could also print out a hard copy if you prefer. Having this makes things much easier when you arrive and avoids any mishaps you may encounter with accessing the app or dealing with those pesky low signal moments. Plus, it'll make checking and accessing the venue much quicker, too.

MBE ACCESS
Registration in advance is essential this year as we have limited registration on arrival.
When you register you'll receive a badge pdf which you should print off and bring along with you.
Register as early as possible to ensure we can get your badge to you in good time.

All areas of MBE – and the BDC as a whole – will be subject to enhanced cleaning, air movement/filtration and hand-sanitiser stations will be in abundance

MBE is a mask-friendly event; visitors and exhibitors can choose to wear one or not.

MBE will have additional areas for visitors to distance around the hall should they wish.
